My name is Whitney and I live in Los Angeles.
I went to film school at The University of Texas in Austin where I also worked for a record label and learned how to make websites.

After film school, I worked for an indie film studio called Yari Film Group (best known for Crash and The Illusionist). A few years later, I started working for Warner Bros. Pictures in their worldwide interactive marketing department, promoting WB movies via websites, interactive games, social networking pages, videos, and apps as these movies went into theaters. After 3 years with WB (and over 100 movies!) I am now a freelance marketing consultant for a few different Hollywood movie studios and also advise for the Artist Servcies divison of the Sundance Institute.

I love all things digital, but am especially interested in the future of streaming video content and mobile media. As such, I am also pursuing opportunities to produce my own original feature films and then market and distribute these films independently and digitally.

When I'm not working in entertainment or marketing, I love to make coffee. One day, I want to open my own coffee shop. I also enjoy photography, surfing, reading, and playing piano or guitar.
